DC MAP organizes events and activities throughout the year that provide opportunities for members to network with community and business leaders.
In addition to our annual meeting, the association has breakfast events which feature distinguished speakers who have the ability to make a difference in our community. During this forum, members can ask questions and receive solutions for the issues that affect them most.
Past speakers for these breakfast forums have been Mayor Anthony Williams and council members from various wards including Jack Evans of Ward 2. The Commander of the 3rd District Metropolitan Police Department and the Captain of the area Park Police regularly attend.
DC MAP also offers workshops to address day to day business needs of its members. Workshops on management, marketing, branding, accounting and budgeting have been offered.
